Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected,
I help you explore what’s happening beneath the surface - so you can find your way back to feeling freedom and ease within yourself.
Our session will be
-

-
Integrative
I draw from diverse therapeutic models, adapting to your needs. Our work evolves with you—supporting emotional, psychological, and embodied aspects of your experience.
COMMON Themes I wORK WITH
Often we first notice an issue when it is impacting our work and relationships, or a friend or loved one may have noted how stressed or unhappy we seem.
I work with you to identify your therapy goals and focus on what matters most to you.
Burnout, overwhelm and work-related stress
Chronic illness and health concerns
Family and relationship dynamics
Low self-esteem and confidence
Redundancy, bullying, and harassment
Navigating purpose, identity, and career transitions
In my private practice, I work with the many forms of loss we encounter in work, health, and relationships. This may include the impact of career or role changes, shifts in intimate or family relationships, experiences of illness, or a loss of purpose and identity.
When these changes leave us struggling to cope with everyday life, therapy offers a space to explore what’s happening and to begin finding new ways of coping — and new ways of being.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Each session will be 50 mins.
-
I offer a free 20 min call so that you can ask any questions you may have beforehand. Often the first session is especially daunting so we will talk at a pace that feels comfortable for you and over time, I aim to create a welcoming, safe space for you to return each week.
-
Starting therapy can feel daunting, and it takes courage to take the first step. My clients and colleagues describe me as a calming and warm presence. In our first session, I will take the time to understand your current circumstances, main concerns and goals for therapy. The process will move at your own pace, with no pressure or judgement — you can choose to share what feels comfortable for you.
-
My clients describe me as warm and calm, creating a space where they feel able to open up at their own pace. They also tell me I’m insightful - that I ask sharp, thought-provoking questions and make unexpected connections.
-
Therapy is an individal experience and everyone is different. I usually recommend a new client starts with six sessions so that we can work through a particular issue. I offer both short-term (limited sessions) and long-term, open-ended therapy.
-
We would usually agree a weekly session time—the same day and time each week. I don’t offer fortnightly sessions except in exceptional circumstances, as consistent weekly attendance is important for therapy to be effective.
For clients working with me long‑term, this typically means around 40 sessions a year, allowing for holidays, illness, and planned breaks.
-
My integrative approach draws on a range of techniques tailored to your needs, with a focus on humanistic and gestalt methods. Humanistic therapy offers a collaborative space to explore your experiences, values and sense of self. Gestalt therapy invites present-moment awareness, embodiment, and creative experimentation to help you navigate relational patterns and feel more grounded and empowered.
-
There is always the flexibility to pause or end therapy if you feel we’re not the right fit or it’s not the right time for you. I offer periodic reviews to check in about how you’re finding the experience and any feedback you have. You may try a few therapists before you find one who you feel comfortable with.
